1 Year!


Olá queridos!!! At this point I'll just keep on updating you guys whenever I have time, because I've never been so busy in my life!! 

With that being said, the work has been really good here in our 3 areas: Abrantes, Tomar, and Castelo Branco!! I can't believe I've been here since August, but I've come to truly love this area and everyone in it! The Lord has definitely been preparing this area for a long time and it has been incredible to see the fruits of all of our faith and hard work! I'll most likely be getting transferred here in a week though...😅 

On Friday this week I hit my year mark on the mission! It was pretty surreal to think that a year ago I was getting dropped off at the MTC and starting this crazy adventure called a "Mission" 😂. Since day one, I knew that this is where the Lord wants me to be and I've seen his helping hand all throughout my mission so far. Everyone he has put in my path has helped me to learn, grow, and feel his love. I can honestly say this has been one of the best year's of my life despite all the hardships and challenges. You gotta learn how to enjoy it all... good or bad!! 

I'm so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and his perfect Gospel that blesses my life everyday! I know that through our trials in life we can use his Gospel and Atonement to be healed and continue to become the person that God wants us to be! Without Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, I would have no knowledge of these blessings!! Reading that book everyday will change you and your life, little by little....❤😊

  Olá Meus Queridos!! I don't know when was the last time I've written to all of you 😅. If any of you still read these posts I just wanna say thanks for being patient with me!  A lot has changed recently in our mission... We received a new mission President and his family. A bunch of new missionaries from the states are starting to arrive. I have served most of my mission close to Lisbon and in the central part of Portugal. But this last transfer I was sent all the way up to the northern part of the country in a little town outside of Porto called São João da Maderia. It's such a cool little area with a lot of trees and a good view of the ocean. The northern part of Portugal is completely different from the central and southern part. The people are very hard to talk to and the culture is different. Week 5

Ola todos!! I have been in the MTC for 5 weeks now! Like I said before, the time keeps on flying by super fast! This week was really good besides me having a cold lol, but I’m starting to feel better! We didn't have any new missionaries come into our zone this week, so that meant my comp and I had more TRC'S!! We have been teaching this girl named Mele and I have loved being able to teach her with my comp! She is super nice and speaks very fast BRAZILLIAN PORTUGUESE!! It's so hard to understand her lol because she pronounces everything differently than we do because we speak Continental Portuguese. I can understand half of what she says, but it still works out pretty good and she understands what we are trying to teach. We have been teaching her how important baptism is and having faith in God and how making and keeping covenants with him will bless us. Ola Amigos!

Olá meu queridos amigos! These past 2 week have been amazing but hard and I have definetly have seen the hand of the Lord help me and my companions do His work here in Portugal! If any of you remember Fabíola, the mom of that awesome family that we teach a lot, was baptized this past Saturday! The way this all happened was pretty much a miracle! So when I first got to Queluz with my old comp, Elder Moreria, she was already on track to be baptized on March 21. But with the Corona virus and some other things, we had to postpone her baptism date. When we were officaly in quarantine and couldn't leave our apartments to teach or have baptisms, we were really worried if she would still want to keep in contact with us. But through technology, we were able to continue to teach her and keep her motivated to be baptized. We would have lessons with her pretty much every night.
