Bom Diaaaaa!

Bom diaaaaaa! Like all other missionaries, we are still in quarantine and can't leave our apartments, but we have plenty of food (had to wait for 2 hours to get our food  ) and our neighbor is letting us use their Wifi, so it could be worse! Also I have a new trainer Elder Bermudez. He is from Columbia and he is a stud. We are really different from each other, but I have been learning a lot from him and he is one of the most hardest working people I have met in my life. He is never not doing something and we have been able to stay pretty productive during this time. We have been using Facebook to teach and share the gospel and its been cool to see other missionaries and members do this. I don't like using Facebook that much, but its all we can do right now! I honestly haven't been that stressed out about all of this corona virus stuff. I've mostly been bored, but one thing that has been keeping me busy is reading conference talks! One talk that I read was by Elder

Bom dia! This week has been crazy, but fun! The week started out great by going to Belém and just hanging out in the sun and enjoying beautiful Lisboa! Also that night we played soccer with some less active members and some members in the ward! It was super fun! We have two boys in our ward who are named David and Gabriel. They are 16 and 18 and they are the coolest. We all like the same music and soccer teams and it feels like we have been friends for years! They have been a little inactive in the past, but now they have been coming to chruch more and they are blessing the sacrament and helping out the ward! Also we started teaching 2 new friends named Fabrico and Lucas! They are friends of Luany our close friend in the ward  who was recently baptized! They are super intrested and ask a lot of good questions! Also, my Portuguese is getting a lot better! I had a full on conversation with them and I didn't realize that they understood me and I understood them until 5 minutes after

Olá! This week was another good one! It started off good by going bowling with our zone on Pday and hanging out in the mall! Burger King  in Portugal is super good and everyone here loves it! I was pretty impressed when I tried it lol. My comp and I started teaching this lady named Madalena this week and she is from Angola and she is the sweestest old lady you will ever meet! She makes my comp and I call her "Vovó" which means Grandma and she is always feeding me food becuase she says I’m too skinny and need to eat more 😂. She has been taught all of the lessons before by past Elders, but she has never been able to commit to getting Baptized because she has had some doubts about the church. But this week we taught her about how to trust in the Lord and that He will answer our questions and increase our faith in Him and how by making covenants with the Lord He can bless us so much! During the lesson I felt the spirit so much and I can tell she felt it too. It was a really coo

Bom Dia Todos!

Bom dia todos! I have been in Portugal for 5 day's and I already love it here!! The flight here however was pretty rough, I was up the whole 9 hours and I couldn't watch movies or listen to music which was torture!!! Also another reason why it was hard was because when we were having a layover in Amsterdam and I was feeling a lot of stress and anxiety for no reason (probs because i have been awake for so long lol) and everyone was giving us the weirdest looks in the airport. I tried to talk to some people but had no success. I was starting to feel discouraged but when we landed in Portugal all of that changed! Right before we landed I said a little prayer asking God to take away my anxiety and just help me get through this and like Always God pulled thru  . Right after we got off of our plane I was welcomed by a familiar face... ELDER BAZCUK!! I was so stoked to see him because he left the day before me and I knew he had a layover in Portugal but I didn't think I w
