6 Months






Olá meus queridos!! These past two weeks have been so busy, but so much fun! My comps and I had the opportunity to participate in each zone conference in our mission!

 We traveled to each zone in our mission, so basically the whole country of Portugal!! It was such a cool experience to do this! I was able to see how beautiful this country is and I met all of the missionaries in our mission! I was able to help with the training that my comps did at zone conference because they are the president assistants. Our training was on how we can use Facebook and social media effectively to find new people to teach! We created a whole presentation to show how we can do this! It's been really cool to see how creative missionary work is getting! There isn't only one way to do the Lords work. We all have our unique talents and skills that can help other people come unto Christ! 

Last Wednesday I hit my 6 months in my mission! I really feel like I have grown and learned so much these past 6 months. I've seen how God has put people and opportunities in my life to learn and grow to become more like Him. Each companion I have had so far has been such a wonderful experience to learn and serve with. They give me knowledge and guidance that will help me through out my mission and life. I can truly call each companion that I’ve had my true friends. Also the experiences that God has placed in these past 6 months have been life changing for me. I've learned how to adapt to challenging situations, trust in God and my self more, help lead other people, and enjoy what life has to offer. I'm excited for what these next 18 months have instore for me! 

Thank you all again for your love and support for me serving a mission! I've never once felt alone out here cause I know I have my Heavenly Father and all of my loved ones cheering me on, on both sides of the veil ❤!

  Olá Meus Queridos!! I don't know when was the last time I've written to all of you 😅. If any of you still read these posts I just wanna say thanks for being patient with me!  A lot has changed recently in our mission... We received a new mission President and his family. A bunch of new missionaries from the states are starting to arrive. I have served most of my mission close to Lisbon and in the central part of Portugal. But this last transfer I was sent all the way up to the northern part of the country in a little town outside of Porto called São João da Maderia. It's such a cool little area with a lot of trees and a good view of the ocean. The northern part of Portugal is completely different from the central and southern part. The people are very hard to talk to and the culture is different. Week 6!!!

Ola!! Hope everyone is doing well! Today is my last day at the MTC and I’m soooo ready to get out and serve! To be completely honest, I did not think I would have such a good experience here at the MTC, but I'm so glad that I did! I owe it all to my Heavenly Father for putting such amazing people in my life. I have truly learned so much from everyone here at the MTC and I hope I can have the same effect on the people that I will meet in Portugal! On our last day of class with my teacher Irmao Haycock we did this really cool activity for our last day. We went to the S1 building in the MTC and in that building there is this long hallway with paintings of Christ all over the wall. Our teacher told us to walk down the hall and look at each painting of Christ and try to feel the spirit and see what each painting means to us, and once we got done looking at all of them, we would walk back down the hall and show each other which painting was our favorite and what it meant to us. Week 5

Ola todos!! I have been in the MTC for 5 weeks now! Like I said before, the time keeps on flying by super fast! This week was really good besides me having a cold lol, but I’m starting to feel better! We didn't have any new missionaries come into our zone this week, so that meant my comp and I had more TRC'S!! We have been teaching this girl named Mele and I have loved being able to teach her with my comp! She is super nice and speaks very fast BRAZILLIAN PORTUGUESE!! It's so hard to understand her lol because she pronounces everything differently than we do because we speak Continental Portuguese. I can understand half of what she says, but it still works out pretty good and she understands what we are trying to teach. We have been teaching her how important baptism is and having faith in God and how making and keeping covenants with him will bless us.
