Cacém



Olá!! I don't have a lot of time to write, but I'm doing really good and having a lot of fun out here in Portugal! I will still be serving in my same area Queluz for this transfer but I'll be living with the AP's who live in the city right next to mine called Cacém! Since I'm with the AP's now I have the opportunity to see what they do and how they help our mission President and the mission! One cool thing that we did were divisions or "splits". We basically drove all around Lisboa and more down south and met with other elders in those areas and did some ministering! It was such a cool experience and I really learned a lot. I really do feel the happiest when I'm serving others. Also last week was my birthday and we went to the mall and got Taco Bell at the only Taco Bell in Portugal and went shopping! We also snuck in time to go the beach! I thought that was it and then the sweet sisters in my district surprised me with cinnamon rolls and balloons! I love my mission!! Its really cool to recognize that every person God has put in your life are there for a reason! I invite all of you to see people as Christ sees them and realize that they are in your life for a reason! I love you all!! Valeuuuuu 🤙🏼😆

  Olá Meus Queridos!! I don't know when was the last time I've written to all of you 😅. If any of you still read these posts I just wanna say thanks for being patient with me!  A lot has changed recently in our mission... We received a new mission President and his family. A bunch of new missionaries from the states are starting to arrive. I have served most of my mission close to Lisbon and in the central part of Portugal. But this last transfer I was sent all the way up to the northern part of the country in a little town outside of Porto called São João da Maderia. It's such a cool little area with a lot of trees and a good view of the ocean. The northern part of Portugal is completely different from the central and southern part. The people are very hard to talk to and the culture is different. Week 6!!!

Ola!! Hope everyone is doing well! Today is my last day at the MTC and I’m soooo ready to get out and serve! To be completely honest, I did not think I would have such a good experience here at the MTC, but I'm so glad that I did! I owe it all to my Heavenly Father for putting such amazing people in my life. I have truly learned so much from everyone here at the MTC and I hope I can have the same effect on the people that I will meet in Portugal! On our last day of class with my teacher Irmao Haycock we did this really cool activity for our last day. We went to the S1 building in the MTC and in that building there is this long hallway with paintings of Christ all over the wall. Our teacher told us to walk down the hall and look at each painting of Christ and try to feel the spirit and see what each painting means to us, and once we got done looking at all of them, we would walk back down the hall and show each other which painting was our favorite and what it meant to us. Week 5

Ola todos!! I have been in the MTC for 5 weeks now! Like I said before, the time keeps on flying by super fast! This week was really good besides me having a cold lol, but I’m starting to feel better! We didn't have any new missionaries come into our zone this week, so that meant my comp and I had more TRC'S!! We have been teaching this girl named Mele and I have loved being able to teach her with my comp! She is super nice and speaks very fast BRAZILLIAN PORTUGUESE!! It's so hard to understand her lol because she pronounces everything differently than we do because we speak Continental Portuguese. I can understand half of what she says, but it still works out pretty good and she understands what we are trying to teach. We have been teaching her how important baptism is and having faith in God and how making and keeping covenants with him will bless us.
